DEAD ELMS
Dead Elms began in December 2009 with drummer Jack & guitarist Carl in the small town of Minehead. The two piece spent a couple of months finding a sound unlike any other band in the area. Experimenting with multiple time signatures and tunings they found a complex & punchy - in your face - sound that would shake up their sleepy town. In March 2010 the band was joined by Joe on Vocals. Ignoring the repetitive topics of love & teenage angst, Joe focused the band's attention on social commentary, taking influences from At the Drive-in, Rage Against the Machine & early Biffy Clyro. The band was completed later that year with the melodies of Tom on bass. After recently moving up the road to Bristol, the band are building an ever growing army of fans helping to spread the word.
