Since their formation in 2001, First Degree Burns have maintained a belief in creating a sound of invitingly innovative fusions, culminating in an exciting mix of live hip-hop, skank-driven ska and rootsy reggae. The skip-hop revolution has proved an intoxicating elixir, leaving everyone within 50ft of the stage writhing as if they were possessed and leaving audiences in fits of whooping and hollering, stunned by the irresistible slide trombone, eastern flavoured clarinet, passionately honest roots guitar, punchy upbeat percussion, heavy driving bass-lines, devil like DJ wizardry and lyrics encompassing everything from high velocity raps through to harmonious reggae anthems topped off with a slice of smooth saxiness!
With a new fully stocked album'First and Foremost' OUT NOW, recent gigs with the likes of 80's ska legends'The Beat', the infamous'Bad Manners', and the dubtastic'Zion Train', the flame burns brightly for First Degree Burns, especially with the inclusion of their music as a key feature on the'O'Neil winter snowboarding video' and a recent'T-Mobile' television advert.
