PETER & THE HARMONICS
Peter & The Harmonics are an acoustic folk four-piece from the South West who write songs inspired by the likes of Neil Young, Belle & Sebastian and Simon & Garfunkel.
With a discernible pop sensibility, their songs chime with catchy melodies throughout. The band is building a buzz in the South West and London for their blissful four-part harmonies and heart on sleeve lyrics.
New to 2012 is their debut EP'Over Me', a song that meddles with melancholy and optimism in the same breath. A soft release of the single was played by Steve Lamacq on his Radio 2 show, as well as being daytime play-listed on BBC Radio Bristol. More recently the band made the longlist for MTVs Brand New for 2012 competition and were also invited to perform an acoustic session for BBC Bristol Introducing.
