THE DANCING BEAR TRIO
The Dancing Bear Trio are a unique group who explore the possibilities of improvised music. Formed in 2009 by Justin Fellows (Drums), Helen Jenner (Flutes) and Ron Phelan (Bass), this is the esoteric, yet superbly accessible sound of three musicians having a whale of a tim e doing what they do best. Virtuosic flute playing combined with subtly shifting polyrhythms, the music ranges from the sublime to the discordant, the poignant to the exhilirating.
