PATRICK BOLTON
Patrick Bolton is a bristol based producer and DJ and one of the founding members of Apologue recordings.
Techno is forever evolving and so Patrick has tried to evolve with it, creating tracks which are based on the elements that have influenced him over the past decade. Firmly believing that there is always room to develop further and push what can be done with techno, Patrick's ethos is to avoid simply churning out the same dry, generic, lifeless tracks, which are so readily available within the digital market.
A similar theme runs through Patrick's DJ sets, which incorporate sounds capes, loops and melodic elements, but with out losing the groove that techno needs. This is where digital music and the advance in technology really helps, being able to use multiple layers, and reconstruct tracks 'live' and lends itself perfectly to techno.
