Headfirst's Service
The Headfirst Bristol Service is a categorised events listings website for publicising events in and around Bristol. Our service will be referred to as "HFS" throughout this document. Where Headfirst's responsibility is mentioned, if Headfirst is stated as not responsible, this waiver includes but is not limited to, any financial or legal responsibilities either caused by the action itself or any consequences of such action.
Eligibility
HFS may not be used by persons under the age of 18 years.
HFS is only available to persons directly associated with (either the event promoter or a representative of the venue) the event they wish to advertise.
Your Account
By accepting these terms and conditions and signing up for HFS, Headfirst Bristol will create an account for you attached to the email address you provide.
The email address you provide must be your own.
The email address must not be co-used with any other people.
You will keep your login details secret and not allow other people to use your Headfirst account.
Headfirst will do our best to keep the details you provide as secure, but cannot guarantee security. Headfirst cannot be held responsible for any loss of your personal information or any data you add to the Headfirst website. Headfirst cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any such loss.
User-submitted Content
In order to use HFS you agree that any content you submit to the site must conform to the following requirements.
Events listed must be real events that will happen.
Artists added must be real music artists (bands, musicians, djs or producers).
Events listed must be in Bristol or within 10miles of central Bristol. Adding events which occur outside this area is prohibited and any such events will be deleted.
The content you submit must not be false or misleading or in anyway trying to misrepesent an event/artist.
All content must not be offensive or menacing, abusive, defamatory, racist or in breach of any intellectual property rights, confidential information, or privacy rights.
Headfirst users may only add event if they are directly associated with (either the event promoter or a representative of the venue) the event they wish to advertise.
Headfirst users must have the rights to add any content they wish to add to Headfirst.
Headfirst users must not use HFS to advertise any products other than their own events.
Headfirst users must not infringe on any third party intellectual property rights (including but not limited to trademarks, copyright or patents).
Users must not submit any content which either is or promotes, gambling, pornography or racism.
Should an event be cancelled it is the responsibility of the event-submitter not Headfirst to remove the event from the Headfirst website.
Headfirst users must not deliberately falsify or sabotage any content already present on the website.
Intellectual Property
By submitting any content (including but not limited to, text, photographs, graphics, video or audio content and any underlying content) to any part of Headfirst you:
1) irrevocably and unconditionally grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence (including the right to sub-license) of the entire right, title and interest in and to such content.
2) Accept that Headfirst may use the content in any way, including (without limitation) the right to copy, edit, modify, create derivative content from, distribute, perform, play, broadcast and commercialise such content (whether in whole or in part, or copies of the same) in any format or medium currently known or developed in the future.
