John Cooper Clarke, the undisputed poet laureate of punk, performs his trademark satirical verse.

plus special guests: Mike Garry, Luke Wright and very special guests

John Cooper Clarke emerged in the late 70s with his sharp-edged verse and rapid-fire delivery, opening for The Sex Pistols and The Buzzcocks, and even scoring a top 40 single. A figurehead for the movement and all that it encompassed, John Cooper Clarke found himself as one of the leading voices of punk and youth culture of the late 70s.

Now, after DJing on BBC 6Music, performing in the Plan B film Ill Manors and being immortalised in a new BBC4 documentary, the Bard of Salford is back - as vital now as he was then.

Over 16s only.

A limited number of student concessions at £14.50 are available at the venue Box Office on production of a valid NUS card.
