A few steps walk from Gloucester Road's arches is this unique Caribbean restaurant come venue. Plantation frequently hosts live music and djs playing music from the happier, more upbeat side of the music spectrum. Expect to find everything from ska, reggae, and motown to funk, jazz and samba. Music starts around 9.30pm and is free for diners or typically around £2 for walk-ins. The bar at Plantation is open until 3am but bear in mind that bands make way for djs later in the evening. On tuesdays Plantation runs a weekly Open Mic night hosted by J Willox and friends.
