“BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year (2014) Bella Hardy is one of the most creative, prolific and original singers in the UK. Her captivating voice inhabits her characters and spins her stories with an equal balance of strength and sensitivity. With fiddle in hand, she presents folk songs in the best tradition; not as antiquated museum pieces, but as relevant and very human artworks.”

“Yorkley Court is a sizable chunk of land near the forest of dean. A bunch of lovely people have been occupying this land and running a community farm there for 3 years. Unfortunately scummy land developer Brian Bennett has bought the rights for the land and has issues them with an immediate possession order. But Yorkley's citizens will not leave easily!”

“- High energy music'of Eastern origin' - that's Balko-klezmer to you or me, with maybe a splash of Greco-Turkish thrown in. Recently awarded a'Best Klezmer Newcomer' award they still find room in their repertoire for a 17 Hippies cover version, albeit complete with Gypsy violins.”
