'It is my belief that Cody is a cult legend in the making. Maybe that's because I drank his Kool- Aid and, much like his cast of misfit conspirators, I was helpless to its electric, raspberry charm. It's rare to find a voice that is so unique, vibrant, and, most importantly, committed. I mean, he's been fostering SSION for almost a decade! Continually refining and alchemising his vision. Who does that these days? Well, commitment pays off. I think it's cementing his cult cred and status for years to come. I love Cody's totally wacked-out artistic sensibility. It's more fun to see and hear pop culture distilled through his special filter than to try figuring it out on my own. I've known Cody since he did the artwork for our first record (Fever to Tell) in 2003 and I've admired and tracked his work ever since. I'm always half- expecting to hear about a meteoric rise to art stardom, but also just as happy to hear if he remains a cult martyr, because they're an even rarer breed these days. '

What I love about Cody is his dedication to showmanship and aesthetic too many men onstage look like they've either just rolled out of bed or that their mother still shops for them. This man is absolutely unique, brilliant and beautiful, just like his music pop with a sense of humour and cool calculation, balanced by soul, sensitivity, youth and heart. I love Cody, I love SSION, and I want the world to love him too. ' It's cool beyond cool, inclusive, transgressive, and as brilliant and genre- busting as Zebra Katz or Die Antwoord. Wholly 21st century, and wholly now.
