To celebrate having finished a brand spanking new EP, we thought we'd have a bash to launch it into the big wide world! And what a bash we have in store We've got some blinding guests, freebies, prizes and a specially brought-in TurboSound PA to make sure the night goes off with a boom. What's more, the whole night is totally FREEEEE!!
Live dance trio specialising in up-front electro, funk and acid, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Giving it 300% in the vein of Daft Punk, Orbital, Luke Vibert, Claude Von Stroke...
Having spent last summer on the road and all winter in the studio, we're super excited to unleash what we've been up to! Have a listen to some of the new EP on our website (above) to get yourselves in the mood!
Also check out a fat party we played at, going down in Exeter a little while ago:
Conrad the Scoundral is a new MC/Producer from South East London. Confidently combining references to Wastemen, Wall-E and Whitney Houston, this young lyricist is defining a new style. Effortlessly contemporary and highly original Conrad the Scoundral is cooking up a new recipe with grime, electro and rap.
A natural showman, inspired by Sammy Davies Jnr and MC Hammer, the Scoundral is one of the most energetic performers you'll ever see,
captivating the crowd with banter to rival a stand-up comedian.
The list of people he's performed with reads like a who's who of urban music: Tinie Tempah, Katy B, Bashy, Ghetts, Ty, Soweto Kinch, Giggs, Logan Sama, The Wideboys, Richard Blackwood, MJ Cole, Princess Nyah, DJ Ironic and more
The omnipresent hit-writing, hip-shaking magnet of a man Mr J-Top graces us with Talkbox Funk and 80s swoon. When he's not turning the cogs of BIG IN LIGHTS or hot-desking around BABYHEAD, Mr J-Top can be found selling genuine Ray Bans on Sunset Strip.
And if that wasn't enough, we have some serious, proper quality to kick off proceedings
From rural Devon to multicultural London, via the shores of Brighton. Alembic, distils life and culture, combining hip-hop and electronica with traditional African music. The result is a diverse and colourful tapestry where experimental beats, analogue synths and grainy textures collide with West African percussion, Zimbabwean Mbira and Congolese buzz'n'rumble.
Both a musician and animator/designer, it is no surprise that Alembic's music has distinct cinematic and synaesthetic qualities. Having worked on projects such as the BAFTA winning Fonejacker series, he allows the two sides of his creative pallet to influence each other. For best results Alembic recommends that you listen to his music with your eyes closed and stereo loud. Can you see what he sees?
DJ Fidelity ran a small night in the UK under the guise, 'Dub SoulJah's' Promoting DJ's and Producers with similar interests in IDM, Breaks DUBSTEP/TECHNO, D'n'B...
