Those who've been lucky enough to check out Headrush in 2012 will testify that we're well and truly on it right now. We've already set the year off to a flying start, delivering a wall-to wall killer double header with Crazylegz in January followed by one of Bristol's finest recent clubbing moments courtesy of Anthony Shakir and Peverlist in February. So to keep up the momentum in March we're adding bit more bottom heavy energy to the fray in the form of young Mancunian Walton, one of the rising stars of the UK bass scene.

Touching down with his debut release on the institutional Hyperdub last year, Walton's self-titled EP was a no-holds barred undulating ripout that sounded something like MMM and DMZ both on their rudest behaviour. At once grimey, steppy and Funky, Walton's productions embrace the very best of UK'floor culture and have been attracting a huge amount of hype and club action across the country of late. Expect to hear a lot more from Walton this year, and be sure to catch him early for an uncompromising bashout in the vaults of Timbuk2 .

Next up is Artifact, a fine understudy of the Bristol underground and part of the fast-rising next generation of producers in the city. Having broken his career proper in Germany last year, Artifact is back in the UK and representing the likes of Deadplate and his own Bass Ache crew with his distinct blend of percussive, propulsive UKF-hinged beatsmithery.

Support comes in the form of Sureskank's Neek, one half of Gorgon Sound (alongside fellow Bristolian Khan) and a hugely versatile local talent who knows a thing or two about how to work the floor. Expect anything across Dub and Dubstep, all in the name of pressurised dancefloor shockoutery.

In room 2 our good buddies from UFO will be on rotation with Headrush residents, offering up a cleansing blend of disco, house, funk, soul and anything else that fits the bill.
