After the triumphant return to it's spiritual home of TB2 at the end of March, EQ returns once again on Saturday 26th May 2012 with yet another unmissable event featuring yet another huge act making a Bristol debut...

Hailing from Namur, Belgium, Olivier Gr goire aka Kolombo has been been DJ'ing, producing and promoting highly succesful parties for many years.
Having started producing in 2001, Kolombo came to international prominence through Sharam Jey's'King Kong' lable whether, together with production partner Djerom, under the title'Loulou Players' they remixed for artists such as Darren Emerson, Joachim Garraud, Zoo Brazil, and John Acquaviva amongst others.
The pair became a highly influential DJ & production duo and through this success, Olivier soon after went solo, founding his own label naturely titled'Loulou records'.
It was here that Olivier started to experiment with new ideas and production techniques under the moniker'Kolombo', infusing house, tech house & minimal, and collaborating with arists such as Ante Perry, Marc Romboy & Compuphonic on labels such as Systematic, Modualr and Tiga's Turbo imprint, as well as his own Loulou.
More recently, he's remixed for the likes of Cari Lekebush and Martin Solveig, and hooked up with Oliver Klein, Mugwump & Demarzo to co-produce on releases for Mood Music, Ewan Pearson's Misericord, Rob Mello's Disco45, and Kompakt as well as Cocoon, R&S, Gigolo, and the excellent Noir Music.
Despite being a regluar face on the European circuit, and hugely popular one at that, this will be a rare UK performance by one of Europe's finest acts, and one we promise you won't want to miss. Joining Kolombo in the main arch this evening is EQ resident Simon Smith who is joined by two of South Wales' finest in Marek & Farko.... Whillst Room 2 once again provides some musical variation with Bristol favourite and host of BCfm's'The 4th Floor' radio show Tristan B making his own EQ debut alongside residents Luke Langson & Alex Clark.
Doors open at 11pm sharp, with the night running through until 5am. We're expecting yet another huge turnout people, and so with limited capacity, we would encourage you to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment!! Entry for this event is £6 before 12am, £8 after (NUS with card: £5/£6)... so, yet another reason to be prompt!
