★★★★★ - The Stage

"Shifting from coiled pathos to angular kicks and thrusts, it has something of early Wayne McGregor about it."

Alongside this solo work, the evening will feature the first outing of a new Dance Theatre Ballet - UNCAGED - a piece that looks at the life of painters Lee Krasner and husband Jackson Pollock.

Performed by six Ballet Dancers alongside IMPERMANENCE Directors Roseanna Anderson & Josh Ben-Tovim who will play Lee & Jackson, UNCAGED features music from composer Claire Van Kampen and is written and directed by the award winning Sara Joyce, with choreography from Antonia.

Sir Mark Rylance is the Executive Producer and there are hopes for the piece to grow into a full length production later in the year in New York.

The final piece in the evening is a restaged version of KINDERSZENEN- a beautiful ballet for 6 dancers set to the music of Allen Shawn.

First performed in New York, this work has been in repertoire with Ballet Black and we are thrilled to present this new staging of the piece.
