Wildscreen Festival is the world's leading wildlife and environmental film festival. It was first held in 1982 in Bristol.
This year, between 17th - 21st October 2026, across Bath and Bristol, our public screenings offer an unrivalled programme of the best independent wildlife and environmental films from around the world, released this year.
This year’s line-up features 30 films, comprising of 12 features and 18 shorts, each telling unique and original stories about our natural world, including 1 World, 4 European and 11 UK Premieres.
The selection features films created by storytellers from 20 countries across the globe, with 60% of Directors identifying as belonging to an underrepresented group, with 45% of the countries of filming located in the Global South.
