1 in 6 people in the past week experienced a common mental health problem.
We all have mental health. Like with our physical fitness this varies from person to person and how we cope with the balance of good and bad is super important. Just like maintaining a healthy diet we should look to keep a healthy mind.
Mental health issues still hold a lot of stigma, Maya and Safehouse want to stand up and contribute towards World Mental Health Day 2019 to say it is healthy to be open about your mental health and important to seek support when you need it.
This year WMHD 2019 will focus on Suicide Prevention. Suicidal behaviour has increased gradually in all parts of the world and, in the past few decades, has reached alarming statistical levels. The World Federation for Mental Health: Home want to attract the attention of governments so that the issue might be given priority in public health agendas around the world.

OTR is a mental health social movement by and for young people aged 11-25 living in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. They are not just a charity providing mental health services, it's a mental health movement mobilised to support, promote and defend the mental health, rights and social position of young people.
Bristol Mind aims to promote a positive view of mental health and provide services that are accessible, relevant and empowering to the people using them. Their services aim to contribute to mental and emotional wellbeing and to reduce stigma and discrimination.
