Loco Klub's strong ties to local performance troupe the Invisible Circus make it a breeding ground for experimental/immersive theatre, cabaret, dance and music.
With help from Artspace Lifespace (the team behind the Island), this expansive subterranean space of Brunel-built railway arches has been restored to host gigs and live music in Bristol. As well as hosting Invisible Circus (responsible for some of the weirdest and most accomplished theatre in Bristol) - the space has attracted adaptations of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting, tunnel-grade techno from local promoters Room 237, and the launch event for Bristol's dedicated experimental band zine the Bristol Germ.
