Join us for a night of spontaneous laughter at The Improv Spotlight. Immerse yourself in the world of unscripted comedy as two talented groups from our vibrant community take centre stage. These groups will weave unique stories, characters, and humour on the spot for your entertainment. The Spotlight highlights the spontaneous comedy of improvised theatre and proudly showcases the diverse skills of local troupes and artists within our community.

Doors at 7pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets are Pay What You Can with a minimum of £8.

This month under the Spotlight we have The Grumpkins and The Red Room.


*The Grumpkins*

Bristol-based improvisers Emma T and Pete Leaman make up the semi-mythical and all-magical duo The Grumpkins.

Their (very) potentially ground-breaking masterpiece of a show may feature anything from adventure, romance, aliens, angels, demons, knights, drama, mystery, intrigue and a well-crafted gritty limited streaming series about a mismatched pair of detectives. It could also feature two construction workers talking about their favorite types of pie.

What will they do? We don’t know.

*The Red Room*

Immerse yourself in a David Lynch inspired show, depicting a quant middle-american town where the spectre of death has passed through and torn apart the lives of each and every member of this community.

Hearts break, hopes are born and passions ignite for these souls touched by loss -
For your viewing pleasure: an absurd and entirely improvised experience that will expose you to both the comedic highs and the tragic lows of these all too human characters.
