An entire day of music celebrating Bristol choirs and raising money for charity
Join us for an entire day of song to celebrate local choirs and raise money for charity. From pop to rock, folk to world music and a bit of musical theatre thrown in too, come and lend your ears to the wide variety of music Bristol has to offer in the friendly surroundings of the Southbank Club in Bedminster. Proceeds will go to support Bristol-based charity Changing Tunes who use music and mentoring to help people lead meaningful lives, free from crime.
Choose from a day or evening ticket or come along for the whole event with the option to come and go throughout the day.
There'll be drinks and food available at the venue.
DAY SESSION TICKET - £7 (1:30pm-6pm)
EVENING SESSION TICKET - £10 (6pm - 10pm)
WHOLE DAY TICKET - £15 (1:30pm - 10pm) drop in and out throughout the day
2pm - PONITA
One of Bristol's largest and longest running community choirs, singing songs that uplift, heal and inspire.
2:45pm - BRISTOL FOLK HOUSE CHOIR
A lively, friendly and fun-loving acapella community choir who sing a variety of folk songs
3:30pm - CHOIRJAM
A fun, pop-choir with over 150 members whose main aim is to have a good time!
4:15pm - THE RIFFS
The Riffs is an auditioned, all female a cappella singing group who sing pop and rock. Members are ladies from or affiliated with RiffRaff Choir.
5pm - BRISTOL SHOW CHOIR
Bristol's No.1 musical theatre a capella choir singing songs from smash hit West End & Broadway shows such as Wicked and Avenue Q.
6-7pm - BREAK (bar open for drinks)
7pm - Talk and performance from CHANGING TUNES
Short talk from charity Changing Tunes plus performances from a resident musician and an ex-prisoner.
7:30pm - GASMEN COLLECTIVE
A men's a capella group emerging from Bristol's legendary Gasworks Choir, they sing an eclectic mix of rock, pop and folk.
8pm - PLANET 24
A small group of various genders singing various genres
8:45pm - BRISTOL GEORGIAN CHOIR (BORJGHALI)
A small a capella choir who sing the evocative and ancient harmony songs from the Republic of Georgia.

ABOUT CHANGING TUNES:
Changing Tunes is a Bristol-based charity that uses music and mentoring to help people lead meaningful lives, free from crime. Working in 14 prisons and 2 community hubs across the UK they help over 500 prisoners and over 50 ex-prisoners each year by using the power of music to unlock people's potential to change.
