Colatura craft dreamy yet heavy indie rock, weaving fuzzy guitars, sharp hooks, and raw storytelling. Originally part of Brooklyn’s scene and now splitting time with Pittsburgh, they released their new EP If I’m Being Honest on August 1st via Easy Does It Records, produced by Nixon Boyd (Hollerado, Dizzy). The record builds on their 2022 debut And Then I’ll Be Happy and 2024’s Do You Miss Her / Suffer Dude.
Praised by FLOOD, Brooklyn Vegan, and Under The Radar, Colatura have appeared on Spotify’s All New Rock and in rotation at KEXP and WYEP, where they also performed live. Their radiant live show has seen them share stages with Slow Pulp, Mamalarky, Nation of Language, and Pom Pom Squad, with a US and European tour coming later this year.

Frome-based 'Shadow Stevie’ arrives with a raw, stormy yet colourful, dream-like sound, rousing layers and flashes of wistful '90’s shoegaze & sad core combining beneath hooky pop tunes . Yet it’s her unique Buckley-tinged vocals, strong melodies and distinctive sounds that also draw comparisons with Clairo and The Sundays .
There's a charm to the bruised honesty of her songwriting: emotionally-wrenching lyrics that are vulnerable yet facetious, charged by a cinematic sound that is brooding though often bright.
