Best Of Acoustic Bristol at The Lansdown Clifton
£4/£2.50

A gig on Thursday 29th October. The event starts at 20:00.

The bi-monthly'Happening at The Lansdown' is back, with three of the cream of acoustic acts from the city. We scoured the city to find some of Bristol's brightest, smoothest talents, who will take to the stage in the beautiful setting of Clifton's Lansdown Pub. Come and relax on squashy sofas amongst candles and fairy lights and have a listen to some of the finest acoustic music Bristol has to offer. Featuring James Slater from popular bluegrass band Appalachia.

ELLIOT HALL & RAPUNZEL

An original music duo playing Americana/alt-country and blues on guitar, mandolin, harmonica and harmony male/female vocals, this pair travel all over the country playing their heartfelt songs in music pubs and cafes, folk clubs, festivals, arts centres and concert halls. Expect a few foot-tappers as well. Think Gram Parsons and Emmylous Harris.

"Between them, Elliot and Rapunzel take the smoky-room, rare-steak, bourbon-laced sound of his voice and weave in the softer, country-edged sound of hers to concoct a powerful brew - one you'll want to taste again and again. In fact, when you listen to this music be ready for its essence to linger in your head for days" - Folkwords Magazine

"These guys will engage and entertain - americana from the top drawer" - 'It's an Americana kinda thing' Sound Lounge London.
