Louise and The Feathers at YHA Bristol
See event details

A gig on Today. The event starts at 19:00.

Louise and The Feathers brings unique indie, folk, slight rap tap vibes with heartfelt lyrics, incorporating influences from Florence and The Machine, Paolo Nutini, Amy MacDonald, Tracey Chapman, Hazel O’Connor and Fleetwood Mac.

From Birmingham originally, she moved to Wales aged 9 and has been writing or playing somehow ever since. Revisiting early written originals she started afresh using her middle name “Louise”; representing 'the roots of passion', alongside “and The Feathers” linking to spiritual perceptions and a love of nature.

She shared Window View EP (2019), with Faded Away getting featured on Rotor's Video of the month with Rich Tea Biscuit described as having ‘A powerful, distinctive vocal line (that) storms through the track with great ease’ (Moggblog). After which, she performed at Cwmaman Fest, Landed Fest, Asylum Birmingham, Camper Jam, Bank Vault Aberystwyth, WAM Aberdare and more, before venturing further afield including Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and London.

We are delighted to be hosting Louise and The Feathers for her first Grain House Session this February!
