Alkebulan is the original name for Afrika, and culturally we represent and honour our Alkebulan ancestor with music, Roots and Culture, inna Warrior stance. We have been operating as a sound system for over 5 years, although our name has existed since 1993, when owner Prince ZebuLion, played on PA sets sharing he stage with the likes of Kai Dubs of Dub Forward Records, Ras Moffat (RIEP) of Roots Injection Sound System, Pappa Roots (RIEP), all from Bristol, and playing alongside Ma-Kaya Sound System , Rastayard, Jah Youth Sound System, Tafari Warrior Sound System , as well as appearing with Negus Dub Warrior and Technics Worldbeat at Leeds Carnival. Prince ZebuLion has been involved with live Facebook programming on Roots Tuesday (LifeFM) for over 10 years, and had a 2 hour slot on Riddim Full A Culture T.V run by Ras Idren Natural (RIEP) And Pappa Roots
