'Magpies & I' are setting down some roots at the wonderful decedent Mauretania on Bristol's Park Street.
The Mauretania hides a surprise behind the previously VIP doors. Find wood paneling, chandeliers and dramatic ceilings are all original interiors from the ocean liner RMS Mauretania in 1928...very Art Deco.
Market days, which after the first opening on the 13th of July, will run on the first Saturday of every month.
The venue will be filled with the Magpies & I usual flock of vintage and handmade local sellers. They will be offering clothing, homewares, vintage bric-a-brac, various jewellery, accessories and many other creative products.
The Market will also offer you the option of a tempting vintage tea party, fresh fruit cocktails, plus a vintage hair parlour!
You can enjoy an afternoon tea with friends, sampling fresh cut sandwiches and homemade scones. Then for the more daring there is the option for a classic cocktail...or two!
The wonderful vintage parlour will be set in its own boudoir room, offering everything a girl could need pre Saturday night. With vintage hair, make up and nail art services all on offer.
