“So after the Beat Den guys came down and smashed it at The Hatter we though it was only right to get them back again. If the word smooth was a band then it would be Beat Den. Make sure you dont miss out on this one, its going to be special.”

“Well-established Bristol drummer James Paton has outed himself as a singer/songwriter with a particularly soulful bent. Inspired by D'Angelo and others, accompanied by a full band in a rocking set of R'n'B and hip-hop inspired original numbers.”

“Azalea City is Dave Collingwood, Simon Grant and Robin Allender. Based in Bristol, UK and previously known as Azalea City Penis Club, the band has released one album, The Coffin Years, on Dreamboat Records. The newest EP, Wodwo, was recorded at Factory Studios in Bristol in January 2013. They're now playing a less heavy but no less silly mix of math, stoner and country rock. And pop. Influences include: Cass McCombs, Earth, Can, The Replacements and, why not, Simply Red.”

“Rumour has it that if you turn an ear to South-Western winds, you'll hear the reggae, the ska and the funk of four fabled men and one lively lady. Winning the hearts of skilled-skankers, giddy gig-goers and BBC-introducers, Skata Tones play both originals and covers to meet your roots-flavoured needs.”

“Immigrant Swing offers its own blend of Bristol Riot Swing, a high energy, foot stomping, acoustic music merging sounds from around the globe, with influences ranging from Gypsy Jazz & Blues to Mediterranean Folk & Hip Hop. A Swinging rhythm section - driven by the Balkanic sounds of the Tuba, Manouche Guitar rhythms and Drums- provides the foundations for MCspokeMao to deliver his own style of beat-poetry, with Clarinet & Violin ripping through the melodic lines. Be prepared for anything and make sure to bring along your dancing shoes!”
