Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival rounds off its Nominated Shorts Season with a showcase of the live-action and animated short films nominated for the 2013 BAFTAs. As a qualifying festival for these prestigious accolades, Encounters brings you the best of British short film talent in partnership with BAFTA and the Independent Cinema Office.
The programme includes winning shorts Swimmer by esteemed filmmaker Lynne Ramsey (best known for We Need to Talk About Kevin, Morvern Callar and Ratcatcher) and The Making of Longbird by Will Anderson. After the screening we will be welcoming Muriel d'Ansembourg, BAFTA-nominated director of Good Night, for a Q&A.
