PICK IT UP! is a new installation presented by anti-discplinary artist Morven Mulgrew, featuring the work of 20 Scottish artists in conversation with 20 Bristolian artists. Artists were invited to submit a receptacle or object suitable for drinking from, and in this show, the audience is encouraged to pick up and use the work on display. The show is a collaboration between the audience and the receptacles on display and examines the connection between objects, food and the body in a lively DIY environment.

Throughout the weekend there will be a series of events taking place in the space as follows:

Thursday 6th February - 6-8PM
Old Market First Thursdays
Pick It Up! Opening Drinks and performance 7.30pm of SUP SEREMONY by Morven Mulgrew

Friday 7th February - 11-5pm
Gallery open with fresh teas served 11-5pm by Morven Mulgrew

Saturday 8th February - 11-5pm
Gallery open with following events:
1-2pm- live radio broadcast in space on the theme of Liquid Nourishment
3-5pm - Performance by Ash Loxton followed by SUP SEREMONY performance by Morven Mulgrew

Sunday 9th February - 11-5pm
Gallery open with following events:

Work of over 40 artists will be available to take away to be used as receptacles forever more. For Cash.
