Ramadan Community Iftar! Join us this blessed month of Ramadan for an evening of food, community and reflection. Together we will share Iftar, explore the concept of justice through an islamic lens and write letters to political prisoners currently held in the UK. - 6th March - 5:30pm-7:30pm - 5E013, Conference Room, UWE, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol, BS16 1QY. (No parking on site unless UWE staff or students.) - The following bus routes go to UWE Frenchay: m1, m3, m4, U3, 19, 46, 70, 72, 73. This gathering is open to the wider community — whether you’re fasting or not, you are warmly welcome. We will pause around 6pm for Maghrib prayer and Iftar. Please bring your own prayer mat. This is a free event but we will welcome donations for The Sameer Project to help provide Iftar meals, water and food packages to people in Gaza. Please reserve a free ticket to confirm your attendance. If your plans change and you’re unable to attend, kindly cancel your ticket so we can ensure the right amount of food is provided.
