The Reading Heap at 7a Bell Hill Road

A event on Sunday 5th April. The event starts at 17:00.

Like a cuddle puddle, but with books.
Like story time, but with consensual Platonic touch. And snacks.

Feed your imagination and regulate your nervous system in The Reading Heap, a space to read and be read to, whilst sharing the soul-soothing friendly touch of fellow humans. (Or not. All touch is consensual and under no obligation.)

Agenda:
We'll begin with rules around touch and consent.
Followed by a short meditation.
Then we'll take it in turns to share a few paragraphs or pages from a story, a book, a poem, any text that inspires you, touches your heart, or that you desire to read to the heap.
We'll pause halfway through for tea and snacks.
You're warmly invited to bring something to read and share, but this is not essential. There will be a selection of books available on the day to read from too.

Please get in contact if you have any questions.

The event is on a pay-what-you-can, donation basis.
