acta are pleased to offer this Half term holiday drama workshop this February for children aged 7-11. Led by our experienced theatre facilitators, you will be part of a small group who will create a play from scratch in only two days! On the second day you can perform it to friends and family under the spotlights of acta’s Theatre!
The experienced facilitators have a combined 40 years of experience at acta and have developed a methodology that creates a safe and supportive environment so that the group will have fun, make friends, all while developing their confidence and their self-esteem.
We’ve also seen that theatre creation like this develops group and social skills including: co-operative working, communication skills, encouraging creative thinking and problem solving and building initiative.
Even better – all money raised from these workshops will go straight to supporting our creative community work – promoting community cohesion and wellbeing through offering everyone involvement in the arts.
