Lost Within The Pages of a Book by acta Company
An event on Monday 8th December. The event starts at 19:00.
Hiding inside Quill’s Quintessential Bookshop, concealed among the shelves bustling with books, are mystical lands. Swash-buckling adventures are imagined through the words on the pages, brave warriors fight fire-breathing dragons, hidden within encyclopaedias, and elfin-like fairies from folk tales of yesteryear are challenged by images of millennial magic.
Trapped in a world where stories come to life, join an anthology of characters as they race through chapter and verse, making their way across a perilous land of make-believe that only a book could describe. Can they make it out before the last page turns? Will they live happily ever after?
Join us for this enchanting play, celebrating creativity and storytelling, guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit.
Lost Within the Pages of a Book is suitable for ages 5+
acta Company is acta’s only ‘invite only’ group, it has been in existence in various forms since 2004. The group is for participants who have been in acta shows before and want to continue to develop their theatre skills and love of performance.
We have an open pricing structure for our tickets – we ask for £3 for a concession ticket, or £5 for a full price ticket and it’s up to you to decide which of those feels more comfortable for you. If you would like to pay more, we would be very grateful if you could donate on top of your ticket. This year, acta’s 40th, we are also offering a ticket that costs £10 – which includes a donation towards our goal of raising £40,000 to mark this year and help secure our future.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions
