Creaking Oak by Pick N Mix Theatre at Acta Community Theatre
See event details

A event on Thursday 19th March. The event starts at 19:00.

The residents of Creaking Oak Residential Home are not growing old gracefully.

Their bodies may be ageing, but their minds are as young as ever. Come along for a year in the life at Bristol’s most chaotic Nursing Home: selected highlights will include bingo night, a daytrip to Weston-Super-Mud, and the Summer fete.

Peppered among the mischief-making of the cheeky residents, are moving moments that give this production all-important heart. Creaking Oak is a comic caper born right here in Bedminster.

Come along to see Pick N Mix in their sunset years.

Age recommendation 11+: Contains some bawdy humour and has not been developed with children in mind.

Pick N Mix Theatre is acta’s open-access adult group. Since the group has been running, the membership has changed and evolved several times, but has always remained lively, bubbly and friendly. Just like a pick n mix sweet shop – this group is assorted and exciting, everybody is welcome: there is something for everyone.

We have an open pricing structure for our tickets – we ask for £3 for a concession ticket, or £5 for a full price ticket and it’s up to you to decide which of those feels more comfortable for you. If you would like to pay more, we would be very grateful if you could donate on top of your ticket.

Creaking Oak is made possible thanks to the generous support of our funders, The National Lottery’s Community Fund
