We invite you to something quite special on Sunday 22nd November, a live tango trio and taster dance session. Come and have a go or just have a drink and listen to the sounds of authentic Argentine tango. Live music by Tango Calor.

Tango Calor will transport you to the backstreet Milonga clubs of Buenos Aires while Tango Note teachers will kick start the evening with a taster session of basic Tango Steps. Mirek Salmon on bandoneon, Juan Carlos G mez Pastor on guitar and Indira Roman on vocals.

A brand new tango event in the heart of Clifton.

Hear the sounds of traditional tango from some of Bristol's finest musicians.

Juan Carlos Gomez tours the world as a flamenco guitarist with Canizares (Paco de Lucia's long term sparring partner) and has now turned his hand to the intricacies of tango guitar.

Indira Roman is a beloved singer of all things Latin American. She hails from Havana, Cuba and has toured extensively with Salsa Kingdom and appeared with such luminaries as Roberto Pla.

These two have been brought to tango by local favourite Mirek Salmon. Best known as an accordionist, Mirek has performed with artists such as Nina Hagen and Mark Padmore and can often be seen with Bristol's own Moscow Drug Club. He has been featured accordionist in TV adverts for Renault and made several live appearances on BBC Radio 3 and 4. He will be playing the unique and bewitching bandoneon for this event. Come and witness the passion and fire on Argentine tango from this spellbinding trio.
