Inspired by true events, this new comedy musical follows the Australian government's futile attempts to fight mischievous emus. Get your tail feathers ready for catchy tunes and dancing birds - this is The Emu War!

Inspired by true events of the the Great Emu War of 1932, this show follows two farmers who get the government's help to fight birds away from their crops. Sir George Pearce & Major Meredith (who were real people) then arrive to help out and shoot the birds, however things do not go to plan...

This show will have you laughing, crying and humming the tunes after you’ve left. Already award nominated, ‘The Emu War: A New Musical’ is going to land at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer at the Pleasance.

Pearl Whirl Productions consists of upcoming creatives from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and was founded through the creation of this show. Our Motto is “Silliness done Seriously”, creating hilarious work full of heart
