The Flower Shop is a piece of new writing focusing on familial tensions, betrayal and sacrifice.

Set against the backdrop of a flower shop in East London, it follows the shop owner Julie, who dreams of more while navigating the relationships with her husband Jim, and their nephew Miles. As secrets begin to crawl out from the woodwork, the flowers begin to wilt and Julie has to grapple with the consequences to keep herself, her relationship and her livelihood afloat as she and the her family are forced into choices by the people they think they know and love.

Brought to you by new company Daily Bread Theatre, whose ethos revolves around collaboration. They focus on the process of theatre making and believe that every element of theatre is equally important to the finished product. By working collaboratively they want to continually evolve to discover new ways of telling stories for everyone.
