The Alma Sunday Sessions return with music, comedy and all-night pizza! This month we've got Bristol dream-weavers Larkham And Hall in the bar, and comedy headliner Tom Glover in the theatre!

Americana songwriters Sarah Larkham and Elliot Hall create bittersweet, beautiful music with country elements, taking their influences from American folk, country and blues artists such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Johnny Cash. Together they layer harmony vocals onto thought provoking, poetic lyrics, all woven through with sparkling guitar, country style mandolin and harmonica. Emotional, heartfelt, honest music in the country-folk tradition, and words that will stay with you long after the evening is over.
"Breath taking and awe inspiring" NME
"Imbued with a rare honesty and passion" VENUE
"These songs spare no pain, no heartache, you're there with them feeling what the artists feel...Between them, Elliot Hall and [Sarah Larkham] take the smoky room, rare steak, bourbon laced sound of his voice and weave in the softer, country-edged sound of hers to concoct a powerful brew - one you'll want to taste again and again. Be prepared for the powerful music to linger in your head for days." FOLKWORDS
Music begins downstairs at 7pm, free with donations.

Blue Mustard Comedy returns to their monthly slot at the Alma - this month our headliner is Tom Glover!
On the UK comedy circuit since 2010 Tom has avoided the bright lights of TV panel shows in favour of the best and worst (in fact, any) clubs, tents, pubs, theatres and fields that Britain has to offer.
Following in the footsteps of the westcountry’s finest comedy talent, Tom has been growing in the dark depths of the south west where he is a regular MC and headliner for those rooms no-one else can afford to drive to.
Gigging to everyone from students to the ladies of the WI this plucky 27-year-old has developed a knack of winning over any crowd with his tales of life on the outside and his observations on the minutiae of the everyday. And if that’s not your thing he also does funny accents and pulls silly faces.
“Going to be a comedy monster” COMIC
“Deserves to go a long way" WE ARE KLANG
