Edward Bourne: Sketchbook at Alma Theatre
£11 full / £ 9 concession

A event on Thursday 26th January. The event starts at 20:00.

Songs become sketches and sketches become songs as Edward Bourne embarks on his first gig as a jazz keyboardist, only to find it overrun by an hour-long string of sketchy flashbacks.

Make some room for a fast feast of comedy sketches from Edward Bourne’s Sketchbook. Prepare for voiceover fantasies, roughly chopped by a horrifying haircut, some mildly medieval miss-steps in romantic courtship, a tutor on trial, a mastermind appearance that takes the mickey, and a terrifying(ly awkward) T-Rex impersonation.

Hot off his 2018-20 run in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (supporting lead thank you very much), Edward Bourne kicks off his 2023 with a work-in-progress of his first solo show at the Alma Theatre.
