On Wednesday the 24th July, Alpha will be transforming into a comedy club for the evening. For just £6 you will be treated to 6 exceptional acts! Doors will officially open from 7pm (but we're open from midday anyway..) with the first act kicking off at 7:30pm.

As a small venue, tickets are extremely limited and we expect them to sell out fast so get in quick!!


A bit about the acts:

Peter Jones

Peter Jones is a stand-up comedian from Australia now based in London. He has performed stand-up on the TV show Comedy Up Late, appeared in the Netflix series Why Are You Like This?, and has written for a bunch of TV shows in Australia including The Project and The Weekly. Right before leaving Australia he won the Kings of Comedy - Comedian of the Year award. Since arriving in the UK he has won the 2023 Beat the Frog World Series.


Shirley Halse

Shirley Halse is a comedian, writer and full time MILF. Sometimes spotted in a double act - literally carrying her comedy partner - she runs The Alternative Book Club and Cygnet Comedy in Cheltenham.

Meg Watts

Southeast London geezer bird, Meg Watts, has a sassy nature, sarcastic delivery, and is often found pointing out what everyone else is thinking. Likely to tell you to be quiet (and then apologise after), some say what she’s lacking in common sense, she makes up for in people pleasing. One thing is for certain, she’ll make your stomach wiggly, knickers giggly, and… brighten up your night.
