In April the Supreme Court ruling concluded that the legal definition of a woman is based on 'biological sex'.
This has led to an avalanche of transphobia in the UK as the right-wingers who want to attack trans+ and women's rights have been emboldened.
The ruling will do nothing to advance women's liberation or tackle sexism, whether that's far right misogyny, attacks on abortion rights or rocketing childcare costs.
As well as exploring these issues, this meeting will be putting these attacks in a wider context of global crises and the advance of the far right internationally. This partly forms the basis for Keir Starmer's capitulation on trans rights together with other key issues, such as warfare over welfare, Palestine, and anti-migrant racism.
