Kashmir on the Brink: How Imperialism Stokes War at ARC events, 26 Broad Street, Bristol, BS1 2HG
See event details

A event on Thursday 15th May. The event starts at 19:00.

The danger of war between India and Pakistanis escalating. This meeting looks to locate this within the drive within the system to imperialist conflicts. The way colonial rule ended in India in 1947 shaped the future including Kashmir which both countries claim and whose population historically has demanded independence. How is it that war, nationalism and capitalism seem to go hand in hand? Is this grim cycle of rivalry and military confrontation one which can ever be challenged? And if so, how? All welcome. Hosted by Bristol SWP.
