--- DETAILS

Room 237 invites you back to the prestigious Arnolfini, for another forward thinking live electronica showcase. This time we invite Manchester legend Claro Intelecto, who’s 2nd album for Delsin Records released in 2017 and saw him tour the world over, following a hugely influential back catalogue which remains as vital and current today as it did 15 years ago.

Under the moniker of Varg, Jonas Rönnberg has established new pathways over the landscapes of techno across highly coveted releases for Semantica, his own Northern Electronics label and Copenhagen’s Posh Isolation. His Scandinavian roots are prevalent, incorporating highly informed references of black metal, ambient and at times, R&B, throughout a plethora of aliases and performances across Europe's most vital cutting edge institutions such as Unsound and Atonal.

Gábor Lázár brings his ‘Unfold’ show to Bristol, fresh from performances at Atonal and Unsound and a recent collaboration with Mark Fell. Dissecting 2-step, grime and electro with expert precision alongside an extraordinary LED light show, his work results in visceral and affective hyperkinetic electronic patterns.

Newly signed to Max Cooper’s MESH imprint, Brecon fuse percussive electronica with introspective and evocative melodies inspired by their surrounding landscapes in South Wales and Bristol, accompanied by synchronised drum triggered visuals.

And finally, White Peak return to Arnolfini following exemplary performances at both Freerotation and Room 237 in 2017. The pairing of Black Amiga and Lab Matix draws reference from junglist futurism to create brooding techno soundscapes which has seen at support slots for Venetian Snares, Source Direct, Lee Gamble and The Sprawl.
