A Dance A Day at Arnolfini
See event details

A event held at Arnolfini on Saturday 4th July. The event starts at 14:00.

A thirty minute performance presented twice at Arnolfini, at 2pm and 6pm.

A Dance A Day, by Divija Melally, in collaboration with Saili Katebe, Adrian Longstaffe, Alexandra Pickford and Peter Thompson.

Dance, movement and art has always existed through centuries as a way of expression and connection. ‘A Dance A Day’ looks at how movement also plays a huge part in our wellbeing: not only physical, but emotional and social wellbeing. Regardless of whether they were introduced to dance in their childhood, or discovered it later in their lives, the three performers bring to life the support, care and fun that comes from movement, and the human connection and community that it creates. Movement, text and poetry offer us snippets into this exploration of movement as a companion, movement as motivation, and movement as the light that we are drawn to.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
