'Vulnerable' will be presenting an evening of music, poetry and discussion on December 13th in Bristol.
Featuring acoustic music from political rapper and activist Lowkey, performing with pianist Karim Kamar and singer Kaia.
Electronic music and spoken word from Nadinne Dyen, with producer Nick Doobay and the soulful vocals of Black Cindy.
A special guest spoken word poet to be announced.
And all the performers will join a discussion panel and audience Q&A with award winning writer and editor of The Good Immigrant, Nikesh Shukla.

LOWKEY
Lowkey is one of the UK’s most celebrated and important rappers, lyricists and political activists, with his music gaining over 30 million YouTube views. For years Lowkey has dedicated his writing to protesting for humanitarian causes and the most vulnerable parts of society through topics such as Palestine, illegal wars, political corruption, Grenfell tower, and many more, most notably through his timeless album Soundtrack to the Struggle. An acclaimed public speaker also, Lowkey will be joining the discussion panel. He will be joined for this live acoustic set by pianist Karim Kamara and the soulful vocals of Kaia.
NADINNE DYEN
With the power of vulnerability as the theme: Nadinne infuses her passionate spoken words with the sounds of multi-faceted experimental electronic beats (produced by Nick Doobay) weaving both her personal experiences and perspectives on current societal issues with a soulful accompaniment featuring Black Cindy.
NIKESH SHUKLA
Nikesh is an award-winning writer, journalist, novelist and a columnist for Observer Magazine. He is the editor of the essay collection, The Good Immigrant, where 21 British writers of colour discuss race and immigration in the UK. The Good Immigrant won the reader's choice at the Books Are My Bag Awards and is shortlisted for Book of the Year at the British Book Awards.
