event
held at Arnolfini
on Today. The event starts at 14:30.
We are pleased to informed this new workshop! We were invited by to be part of Anatomy of Solidarity, a new project from Seeta Patel, the dancer, choreographer and artistic director of Seeta Patel Dance (seetapateldance.com). The project aims to explore how solidarity works in different community and cultural groups, and the role creativity has to play.
Latinas in Bristol is one of those groups invited. Across ten weeks, we will be supported by a facilitator to produce creative responses to the theme of solidarity trough Arpillera, a folk art movement with a long and interesting history of resistance and solidarity.
