A
gig
held at Arnolfini
on Thursday 21st November. The event starts at 20:00.
With shimmering strings and the rhythmic flow of syncopated piano, Erland Cooper transports his listeners to the Orkney Islands and the sea havens that brush its shores. In his latest record ‘Sule Skerry’, Cooper creates “a wonderful marriage of music, time and place” (musicOMH) that paints a vivid musical portrait his childhood home island. Travel with him from the stage at Arnolfini to the isolated northern isles via his beautiful sonic postcards this autumn.
