Saturday 17th March 10.30am - 4.00pm
An introduction to practices in which the five elements of the Aro tradition (earth, water, fire, air and space) illuminate our being through physical movement and craft.
During the day you will learn Tibetan yoga and sky-weaving.
Tibetan yogas are systems of physical movements which give rise to profound physical sensations which are more pervasive than simple bodily experience. It is possible that those who are prepared to experience themselves and their world in a different way, may learn that there is a very real and accessible interaction between the inner and outer elements.
Sky-weaving - namkha - is a meditation practice involves weaving'skies' of coloured wool, which link our energy with the energy of the elements, through the Tantric craft of sound and vision. The beauty of the Sky Weaving, which is empowered through mantra, magnetises personal'demons' (neuroses, fears and obsessions) and releases them within the skies of each element.
