At The MAZI Project, we strive to challenge the food inequality in the city by connecting disadvantaged young people with Bristol’s rich food culture.

Together with Bristol’s independent food sector, local community and established charities, we work towards creating an inclusive environment for vulnerable young people to experience the power of food.

Mission:

To connect marginalised young people with Bristol’s rich independent food scene and create a world where access to fresh and sustainable food is not a privilege but a choice.

Vision:

A world where access to fresh and sustainable food is not a privilege or predetermined by your social class or background but by CHOICE.

Values:

Inclusivity: Creating a world where everyone can enjoy the power of food and are included in the conversation around it no matter their social class or background.

Social justice: Contributing towards the fight against food poverty, sustainable food production and for the needs of the young people we work with.

Community: Working with the local community to contribute to growing the local economy and building a network of diverse connections.
