20.15 - 22.15 at Artemis BJJ
We're excited to bring you something different for this autumn with a queer take on reality-based self-protection! Andi Kidd is well known in the world of practical martial arts, and he will be helping us learn stategies to tackle and escape from a street violence situation. Where possible the content will be tailored specifically to LGBT+ people. We will cover a mixture of theory and hands-on exercises like:
- Street awareness
- Your rights and the law
- Handling a hate crime situation
- Standing up striking and grappling techniques
- Escaping
