Arts Mansion presents: Winter Warmers, cosy evenings of entertainment featuring wide ranging eclectic acts to help get you in the festive spirit.

Our alternative celebrations welcome you to a LIVE Hip Hop Reggae Party featuring, Ngaio, Run Come Down ft Norris Brown and The Inexplicables.

Beginning the night will be..

*****Ngaio******** Acoustic set accompanied by Tom Hackwell's sympathetic guitar strumming, Ngaio embraces the space and allows her vocals to spill through the room.
Described as 'Jill Scott sermonising with the sweet tones of Corinne Bailey Rae and the attitude of miss Erykah Badu' NGAIO's acoustic show draws you into her craft. Expect works diving into multiculturalism, intersectional feminism and what it means to grow up a mixed-race female, harnessing living in the in-between, a testament to what happens when poignant lyricism meets soulful instrumentals.

******Run Come Down ft Norris Brown******
'Run Come Down' are a live reggae band featuring some of the best musicians in the South-West. Founded in July 2019, RCD have managed to capture the authentic sounds of the British reggae scene, bringing you classics from the 70s and 80s as well as heavyweight originals of their own. The band line up consists of four musicians; Sam Ross on keyboards, Alex Dawson on drums, Sam Huelin on guitar and Jake Smith on Bass. They'll be joined onstage by Bristol's very own Norris Brown, bringing his sweet melodies to their well curated set, guaranteed to satisfy any crowd and nice up that dance!

Headlining are

******The Inexplicables******* -who bring something truly original to live dance music. Effortlessly blending styles ranging from Hip Hop and Reggae to Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass. With soulful vocals and insightful rhymes fronting heavyweight beatbox, infectious basslines and virtuosic horns, The Inexplicables are ready to light up the dancefloor!
Now a seasoned outfit they regularly tour throughout the UK and Europe, performing at renowned festivals and venues such as Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party, Mandrea (Italy), Fuego a la Isla (Germany), Wilwarin (Germany), The Troubadour (London), The Fleece (Bristol) and HiFi Club (Leeds), honing their distinctive sound and building a loyal fanbase along the way...

The Arts Mansion (Ashton Court) is now an inclusive multi-use arts venue for Bristol and North Somerset facilitating art, theatre, performance and community activities in Ashton Court managed by charity Artspace Lifespace.

Directions to Ashton Court Estate (North Somerset) with public transport - The following transport lines have routes that pass near Ashton Court Estate
Bus: X3a, X3, X4 leaves from Bristol city centre (opposite The Hippodrome) every 11 minutes, Last buses return at 10.22pm and 11.22pm link to times here. Once you are dropped off at Clifton Lodge it is a 5-10 minute walk up to Ashton Court Estate. FAQ:

CAN I PARK MY CAR?
There are free car parking spaces at the Mansion House car park: including 10 disabled parking bays. Please car share, use public transport, taxi and cycle wherever possible as car park spaces in Main car park are limited. There will be overspill car park options nearby which will require a 5-10 minute walk up to the estate. If you are coming by bus, scooter, or bike - there is festoon lighting from the bottom of the Kennel Lodge Road Entrance.

WHERE IS THE ENTRANCE?
Follow the signs for the Light-Up Bristol, illuminated trail and come through the West Lawn Entrance (opposite the coffee and donut hut and marshmallow roasting point).

DISABLED ACCESS
There is a disabled access entrance and toilet at the venue. If you need further information or have specific access needs, please contact us so that we can make your visit as easy as possible. We can also provide complimentary tickets for your carer. Unfortunately there are no hearing loops in the Music Room.

WHAT COVID-19 MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
Help us to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
As well as a copy of your headfirst ticket, attendance at our events will require the presentation of your NHS COVID Pass, evidence of immunity or of a negative lateral flow test. You can download your digital NHS COVID Pass and print it or show us a copy on your phone. Visit https://covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/ to get your NHS Covid Pass. If you are taking a Lateral Flow test please register the result on the NHS app and you’ll receive a confirmation text which you need to show to gain entry to the Arts Mansion. Self-declared exemptions will be permitted. Please do take a lateral flow test to help protect others. Please bring a mask as masks are required for visitors walking through public areas but you can pop off your mask when you are in the music room. Windows will be opened to provide ventilation during the event. We also have reduced the capacity of our events to make our events as safe as possible for visitors. There are hand sanitiser points throughout the venue
