What:
Lace-up for the first-ever Ravers2Runners X Love Saves the Day fun run on Friday 24th May at the festival site. We’ll be weaving a 5km-ish route through the festival and Ashton Court giving everyone a sneak preview of the fun that awaits the next day!
The run will have a warm-up and cool-down hosted by JBS Fitness - Joanna get fit? Runners can enjoy some light refreshments and music after the run.
Do I need a festival ticket to join the run?
Everyone is welcome!
> You do not need a festival ticket to join this event but you will need to register via Headfirst and the £10 fee is donated to Big Team CIC with the option to donate more if you choose to.

Why:
The event will be raising money for Big Team CIC, who actively diversify the festival industry and create opportunities for groups currently under-represented in the sector.
It’s not a race, it’s a run! The first in the Ravers2Runners fund-raving festival series 2024. They're a positive way to highlight the importance of physical and mental well-being within the music and festival landscape. A great way to meet others with similar interests in music, culture and fitness, and to get a healthy high before the main event.

Who:
Ravers2Runners are a non-judgemental group of runners (and ravers) from Bristol who use their energy for good. They recently took 250 runners on a 6km tour of Glastonbury Festival with Greenpeace and did a daybreak 5km lap of the Gashouder Techno Temple during the Amsterdam Dance Event. During the pandemic R2R raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities through organised events such as running to Ibiza and a lap of Ukraine (albeit virtually!). R2R meet every Wednesday to run a lap of Bristol harbour and everyone is welcome (see their instagram for info).
Big Team actively works to diversify the people who create and contribute to festivals. We support 18-30 year olds from groups currently under-represented to forge their paths in the industry and work with employer organisations to develop more inclusive festival environments, with the view to contribute towards long-term meaningful change in the live event sector.
